First to market Prototype Program:
Davico Manufacturing offers a Prototype Service for Direct Fit Catalytic Converters that we do not currently catalog for our customers. Our Prototype Program starts with complete and accurate information about the vehicle we are prototyping the Catalytic Converter for. To collect this data and to begin the process, customers must completely fill out and submit the Prototype Form. This form is available here or through Davico Customer Service.
Once this form is received, you will receive a call from our Technical Services Department about the timing and scheduling of your Prototype. Unfortunately, nothing can be scheduled without this completed paperwork.
You typically will hear from Davico Technical Services the day of receiving the Prototype Form. At this time final prices will be quoted and both an arrival date and expected ship date back to you will be established.

In addition to the completed form we must receive a digital picture of the emissions ID tag of the vehicle. This is typically found under the hood and can be faxed or emailed to: contactdavico@davicomfg.com
No start or ship dates are quoted or promised until the completed Prototype Form is received and Davico Technical Services has called you with confirmed dates.
Prices quoted do not include shipping.
It is your responsibility to make sure the part arrives the day before your promised start date. Parts received late or after the scheduled start date will have to be rescheduled.
Only the original and unaltered Original Equipment Catalytic Converters can be Prototyped. Aftermarket or Converters that have been cut or altered are not eligible.
Manifold Converters MUST be shipped with ALL heat shields and old gaskets.
ALL OE Catalytic Converters become the property of Davico Manufacturing.
The standard EPA warranty applies to all Prototyped Converters. Please remember to resolve the underlying issue of the OE Converter failure BEFORE installing the Prototyped Converter.
