Ray Surprenant
President / CEO
Ray has been the President of Davico Mfg. since 1998. He first came to Davico for an after-school job in 1988 and worked in various departments, including production, shipping, office work, sales, and management, before eventually buying out his cousin David. Ray grew up in East Freetown, Massachusetts and attended Bishop Stang High School, Louisiana State University, and University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Ray has 4 children with his wife Rebecca. He enjoys boating with the family on Buzzards Bay and coaching various sports with his kids.

Don Davis
National Sales & Marketing Manager
Don, our National Sales & Marketing Manager, brings over 35 years of experience working for large Automotive OEM’s and leading Automotive Aftermarket manufacturers. He has a degree in Automotive Technology and an extensive technical background creating Technical Service Bulletins, developing in-depth technical training programs, and working with R&D for new product offerings. Don grew up in Chicago and currently resides in St. Charles, Illinois with his wife Claudia and their three children.

Liz DeMedeiros
Manager of Finance & Administration
Liz has been with Davico since 2001 and is a key member of our leadership team. Liz oversees the Accounting, HR, and Data departments and contributes to almost all processes at Davico. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to warm-weather destinations and spending time with her son and daughter.

Jake Bateman
Plant Manager
Jake oversees all manufacturing operations and leads operational improvements. Jake is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and worked as a Continuous Improvement Manager at Callaway Golf before joining Davico in 2022. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his kids, outdoor activities, and traveling.

Rob Wigglesworth
Warehouse Operations Manager
With 25 years of experience in logistics and inventory control, Rob Wigglesworth is our Warehouse Operations Manager. Rob manages all aspects of shipping and receiving, executes cycle count programs, and coordinates our kitting process. Rob is APICS certified in planning and inventory management.

JOEY GONZALEZ
Build Lead and Subject Matter Expert
Joey has been with us since 2004 and splits his time between hands-on fabrication in our New Bedford location and hitting the road for sales and technical support. Outside of work, Joey loves camping trips, traveling, and quality time with his family, nieces, and nephews.

Shawn Ayala
Office Manager
Shawn has been an invaluable part of the Davico team since 2017. He brings technical expertise and problem-solving skills to our customer service department, systems automation improvement, and the expansion of our AI usage. Outside of work, Shawn loves spending quality time with his daughters and animals.

John Mello
Shipping Supervisor
John has been the heart of our shipping department since 2016. He ensures every order is accurate and delivered on time, and he is always willing to lend a helping hand. Outside of Davico, John is a talented artist who continually works on a variety of creative projects.

Robert Hamel
Prototype Lead
Robert has been with us since day one and plays a key role in bringing new models into our catalog. He maps out how each new part is made and documents the full build process—his expertise is woven into the foundation of Davico.

Ryan Ratner
Maintenance Supervisor
Ryan has been a key part of the Davico team since 2016 and keeps our machines running seamlessly. When he’s not at work, Ryan enjoys riding his motorcycle, restoring classic cars, flying drones, and jamming out to rock music.

Kory Uzzell
Kory has been a valued member of our team since 2011, keeping daily production running smoothly and making sure workflow on the floor stays on point. When he’s not leading the charge at Davico, he’s on the field coaching youth sports and giving back to his community.

David Howard
Purchasing & Data Specialist
Dave has been with us since 2011 and is responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products and usage analytics, and cataloguing products. Dave enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and boating in his free time.

Laura Sena
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Laura has been with us since 2019 and is a valuable member of the accounting team. She manages customer invoicing, billing questions, and credits. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her pets.
Andrew Baillie
Accounts Payable
Andrew joined the team in 2019 and is responsible for accounts payable operations and data management. He is a valuable member of our team, having improved processes and implemented system features that make our day-to-day operations more efficient.

Elizabeth PeÑa
Plant Manager / Materials & Purchasing Manager
Elizabeth has collaborated in the development of the start-up of the Davico Mexico plant as Materials and Purchasing Manager. Elizabeth contributed her knowledge to achieve the correct flow of logistics, import and export of materials, as well as machinery and base equipment for the production of catalytic converters. Similarly managing and controlling the flow of raw materials and finished products to ensure having the least number of inventory descrepancies. Currently Elizabeth continues to grow and is now the Plant Manager. She is in charge of coordinating and developing strategies hand in hand with her team to achieve company goals. Elizabeth loves animals but especially dogs and dreams of opening her own dog shelter in the near future. She likes to play volley ball and soccer in her spare time, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Jesús Camacho
Production Manager
Jesús is currently a Production Supervisor, in charge of ensuring that roles and activities are adequately monitored. He is also in charge of the maintenance area; his responsibility include ensuring machines are in optimal operation. Jesús also carries out improving LEAN projects for processes within the plant. Jesús enjoys a long trip at night and talks with family and friends. He is passionate about cars and everything related to engineering because of his interest in knowing how things work.
Judith SancHez
Purchasing Supervisor
I’m a marketer by trade, but I also hold a master’s degree in project management, which means I’m passionate about bringing ideas to life and ensuring tasks are completed effectively. My career kicked off in retail, where I spent a good amount of time on the front lines. That’s where I excelled in customer service and sales- understanding what people need and how to connect with them is something I genuinely enjoy. Currently, my efforts are concentrated in procurement, where I serve as a raw material buyer and purchasing coordinator. This involves managing essential sourcing, cultivating strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and optimizing our overall purchasing processes for efficiency and value. I have a passion for lifelong learning and personal enrichment. I enjoy reading widely and staying informed through various podcasts. I also appreciate the arts, finding relaxation and inspiration in music, as well as engaging TV series and films. I’m genuinely driven by curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge. This passion for discovery fuels both my personal and professional growth.
Jafet vazquez
EHS and Support Supervisor
I first learned about Davico in 2021 when I was responsible of Human Resources department as an external provider for Tetakawi. I was then hired by Davico and have been part of the team since January 2025. I am currently in charge of the EHS department, keeping staff safe and the company within legal compliance. I’m very happy to be part of this family. EHS Supervisor and Support. I’ve always been interested in cars. I was an auto mechanic for three years and now work for an automotive company. I’d like to continue learning about them. Despite being in the security department, I love extreme activities or sports.

Raul Lucio
Quality and CNC Supervisor
Raul started working at Davico on January 13, 2023. He is currently a supervisor in the quality department, in charge of ensuring that Davico Mexico parts have the correct specifications to make sure to meet customer requirements. He oversees the CNC area where we carry out our flanges and machining. For Raul it is very important to be part of this family since we trusted him to start working professionally, he love challenges and learning new things, if he sets his mind to something he always makes the maximum effort to achieve it!
In his free time he really likes to spend time with his wife since it was a dream to marry her since they started their relationship. He love adventure video games, especially The Legend of Zelda games. He is very passionate about singing and learning all kinds of new things.

Yessica Vielma
Materials and Production Control Coordinator
On August 15 2023, Yessica started working at Davico México, her main activities were to provide support in the materials department, she began to control production work orders, the process for importing materials, as well as receipt and supply. She is currently responsible for the materials department, maintaining a good flow and control of raw materials and inventory to ensure the company’s production. She really likes spending time with her coworkers, they are very fun, but she also loves being with her children, going to the movies and walking in the park. It is very nice to come to work every day, because she has very kind coworkers who make her day lighter.

Francisco Rodriguez
Manufacturing and Support
Francisco started activities in Davico in January 2023 as an intern, he carried out various activities to help the Quality, Production and Materials areas. Later he was hired as an Engineer in “Manufacturing and support”. Currently he is dedicated to making the changes that are necessary to improve and facilitate the manufacturing of catalysts and exhaust and at the same time reduce material waste. He also performs other activities such as creating diagrams and making 2D drawings or 3D and programs in different software. What he likes to do most in his free time is listen to music, play video games, and watch Club América soccer games, the biggest team in Mexico.
